This kit is designed for the individual who wants as much of the work done as possible for them. You will be given the best customer service we can provide over the phone and via e-mail. For those customers that prefer this, we can e-mail pictures of the install process as it is being completed. This kind of service does not end a the time of shipment of your scope. We will always be there to assist you with any questions about the system you might have. Providing excellent customer service is a big priority with us.  If you wish, we can provide personal instruction for the operation of your system should you be willing to travel to my location or live nearby. I am willing to travel to your location as well, at your expense.

Sales Tax:
Please add an additional 7.75% sales tax to your order price for orders shipped inside the state of Texas. No sales tax will be collected for delivery anywhere else. International orders will be accepted on a case by case basis. Please e-mail me with specific information about taxes/duties etc. to your location.

Shipping:
Please allow up to 1 week for normal shipping.  All items will be shipped insured. You may specify a carrier of your choice. Except where noted, shipping and handling costs are included in the prices with the exception of air delivery. No COD orders. We will e-mail each customer with the pertinent shipping/tracking numbers the same day we ship the item(s). The shipping charges page for the larger items is here

I do accept certified check, money order or personal checks. Payment due when order is placed. Please see the mailing address below. Payment schedules can be arranged if needed. Partials/percentages can be arranged as well.

Discounts

Full time students of a Junior College or University, who send verifiable proof of their status as students, get a 10% discount on all items, with the exception of the laptops.

Returns/Warranty

Purchasing any of our products indicates acceptance of the warranty, policies or procedures listed below. Please print a copy for your records.

GoTo Telescopes (Seller) warrants, to the original purchaser only, that goods sold will be free of material defects in design, materials and workmanship for a period of 30 calendar days following the date of shipment by Seller to Buyer. Seller will repair, replace, or refund the sellers parts cost to the buyer as to, goods that do not conform to the foregoing warranty, provided the cause of the nonconformity does not arise from or relate to modification, misuse, or abuse by the Buyer, and provided a warranty claim, stating in writing and with reasonable particularity the claimed nonconformity, and the goods, are delivered to Seller within the 30 day period. Repair or replacement of the product or refund of the sellers parts costs, at Seller's sole option, shall be the Buyer's exclusive remedies.
Labor charges are non-refundable.
Sellers parts cost can be determined before the time of purchase and is available upon request. Seller shall not be responsible for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages whatsoever, including but not limited to damages for loss of  profits for business interruption, for personal injury and for any other pecuniary or other loss whatsoever arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the software or hardware sold to the buyer.

Support

Buyer e-mail and telephone support for the hardware and software will be provided to all buyers at the sole discretion of the seller.
This warranty is given in lieu of any other warranties, express or implied, including of performance, merchant ability, fitness for particular purpose, or arising from in the course of dealing or usage of trade. Goods subject to this warranty must be shipped postage pre-paid by Buyer to the Seller. Damage to returned goods in transit are the Buyers sole responsibility. Goods received in a damaged condition, caused in transit, will be returned to the sender at senders expense (package and insure your returns well).
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. This warranty takes effect for all goods sold on or before December 23, 2000.

The software and hardware warranty is not applicable for "custom" orders where the customer approves each design element before it is shipped. There is no warranty for custom orders , but a web page with pictures of all components will be made for the customers approval before shipment.

Return for Repair of Damaged Parts

This section refers to parts of a scope drive that are deemed by the customer to be damaged and in need of repair by GoTo & Tracking Systems.

1.     Customer is to pay postage for the parts to be returned to GoTo & Tracking Systems. Insurance via UPS is strongly recommended.
2.     Return postage to the customer is to be paid by GoTo & Tracking Systems after repairs are made.
3.     Repair time will be less than one week unless the electronics are damaged. All electronics are returned to Mel Bartels of BBAstroDesigns for repair. Return time is at their discretion and solely under their control.
4.     If parts of a scope drive, that are deemed by the customer to be damaged, and are returned for repair, are in fact NOT damaged, customer pays for return postage and a labor charge of $50.00 per hour. Determination of whether or not the parts are damaged is to be made solely by GoTo & Tracking systems.
5.     Labor charges incurred from non damaged parts in section 4.  that are left unpaid for more than 30 days will be paid for by the sale of the parts by GoTo & Tracking Systems. Excess proceeds will be returned to the customer.

STORAGE

Telescope mounts and mount parts shipped to and received by GoTo & Tracking Systems that are not fully funded for GoTo conversion within 90 days, and return to buyer postage is not provided, will become the property of GoTo & Tracking Systems on the 91st day of possession.  Sale, use, or destruction of said parts is at the full discretion of GoTo & Tracking Systems.
